We met in early 2008, becoming friends after meeting at a baby group with our firstborns. It was clear that despite our different backgrounds, we were both driven by similar values; to have successful careers that afforded us the flexibility to be there for our families. Since our friendship began, we have supported each other through our individual careers, the highs and the lows and eventually were able to bring our complimentary skills together in our partnership as Directors for Get Ahead’s Berkshire & North Hampshire region.
Following a solid career in the world of corporate HR for well-known global brands, Suzanne has several years’ experience working as an independent Virtual Assistant. With a keen eye for detail and natural ability to work to order, initialising processes and systems meant that working virtually, for multiple clients is second nature for her and perfect to lead the operational side of the business.
Whilst Kristy’s experience was rooted in the media marketing industry having worked in commercial radio for 8 years. She then made a move into the IT sector for 11yrs, working remotely for a niche consultancy specialising in virtual solutions for some of the UK’s largest brands. Adept at building loyal customer and partner relationships, Kristy knows what is needed to understand the client’s objectives and provide them with the right solution to achieve their own success.
Suzanne as Operations Director and Kristy as Commercial Director, we started running Get Ahead in May 2019. Our skills and experience have continued to grow and we’ve evolved through some major challenges seen by the pandemic. We are more determined than ever to ensure we are always able to support our clients’ needs with the skills and resources they need to grow.
Our clients don’t always have time, but we always have time for our clients – we work with them to understand what’s holding them back from achieving their growth and we provide them with flexible outsourced solutions they can afford, enabling them to thrive and importantly allowing them to focus on what they do best.
